Bio
Since 2001, Viktor Pinchuk has been deeply engaged in the visual arts, working with a variety of techniques—from pencil drawing to oil painting. As he primarily creates commissioned works, his output spans a wide range of styles, including academicism, impressionism, and cubism. He is also a highly skilled copyist. His creative focus is centered largely on the human figure, as evidenced by the thousands of portraits and caricatures he has produced. A significant number of these are created during the summer season; since 2006, he has been drawing tourists from life in the market square of Kazimierz Dolnym, and he frequently travels to other cities as well. Many of his caricatures are produced live at various types of events, such as weddings, birthdays, trade fairs, and corporate functions. While he also paints landscapes, architectural scenes, and still lifes, these subjects appear less frequently in his body of work. Currently, the artist maintains a strong connection to Kazimierz Dolnym, where he also resides.
