Hi! My name is Valeryia. After moving to Poland in early 2023, I discovered a new passion: creating traditional Belarusian „pająki” (hanging geometric structures). Although they are traditionally made of straw, I wanted them to be durable so they could be enjoyed for a long time—which is why I started working with paper, bamboo, and metal. My bamboo „pająki” even made it to the Burning Man 2025 festival in Nevada, where they decorated the Belarusian camp „Nasha Mara.” My works can now be found in the homes of Belarusians all over the world, as well as in cafes and on balconies. They make a wonderful interior decor element, available in versions that match various color schemes and material preferences. I also run workshops on creating paper „pająki,” do clothing embroidery, made a traditional Belarusian costume for myself, and create jewelry from glass tubes. I am always open to new ideas and collaborations.
