Bio
Marina Kuharczuk (Shelpuk) (born 1993 in Brest, Belarus) is a painter and collage artist based in Warsaw, Poland.
In 2017, she received a Master’s degree in Fine Arts, specialising in printmaking, from the University of Silesia in Cieszyn, Poland. This background shaped her interest in texture, imprints and material experimentation.
She has worked in graphic design and illustration. During volunteer trips to South Africa in 2016 and 2018, she led creative workshops for children. Since late 2024, she has focused on her independent studio practice.
Her work has been exhibited in Belarus and Poland. Since 2023, her paintings have been presented in pre-auction exhibitions and auctions within the Young Art programme at DESA Auction House in Warsaw. Her works are held in private collections in Poland, Belarus, China and the United States.
Her current practice combines acrylic painting and collage using dyed mulberry-fibre paper. Exploring botanical forms and natural textures, she investigates how diverse fragments can form a cohesive whole while retaining their individual character.
