Melaniia Konstantinova is an interdisciplinary artist from Kyiv, based in Warsaw. Working across visual, performative, and spatial media, she merges dance and performance with graphic design, painting, and photography. By weaving together distinct techniques and experiences, she forms a cohesive, singularly recognizable artistic language. A practice rooted in embodiment, observation, and impulse.
Her work navigates the porous borders between the personal and political, the visible and the erased. Using movement, image, and spatial composition, she explores tension, memory, and the fragile architecture of belonging. Site-specificity and improvisation play a key role, as does a sensitivity to the immediate environment—its textures, absences, and contradictions.
