Olga Salo (olslo) is a Ukrainian visual artist and architect, born in Lviv in 1989 and now living and working in Warsaw. Trained in architecture (Lviv Polytechnic) and at the Oleksa Novakivskyi Art School, she returned to art in 2020. She works mainly in painting and is expanding into textiles, objects, furniture restoration and spatial practice.
Her contemporary naïve paintings combine memories, travels and everyday observation (people, animals, nature, architecture, ornament) into imagined compositions. Rather than documenting real places, she explores how fragments of experience are remembered, transformed and recombined. Colour, rhythm and decorative detail build these visual worlds.
The same idea guides her furniture restoration. Pieces get a new life but keep their traces, as memories worth preserving. Everything comes together in „world of olslo”, an evolving artistic universe where motifs move between paintings and objects.
