Ilya Semashkevich is a composer, sound and interdisciplinary artist working across music, performance, theatre and audiovisual practices. His work grows from observing the world and transforming personal experience into artistic form. He treats sound as a material through which form, movement, colour and new ways of experiencing reality can emerge. His works leave space for individual interpretation, allowing each listener to encounter their own experience through the work.
