Bio
Born in Manila and based in Kraków, Anjeline de Dios is a Filipina singer, sound artist, and independent scholar. She explores the sonic politics and possibilities of migrant labor, art, and care through solo performance works, academic research, and workshop facilitation. Her current passion is to produce transcultural collaborations with artists, educators, and communities. Anjeline’s work has been featured at Künstlerinnen*haus Mousonturm (Frankfurt), Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst (Vienna), SAVVY Contemporary, Ballhaus Naunynstrasse, and Mental Health Arts Space (Berlin), UP College of Music (Manila), and Lingnan University (Hong Kong) among others. She has a BA and MA in Philosophy from the Ateneo de Manila University and Linköping University, and a PhD in Geography from the National University of Singapore.
