Alesia Martynovich

Bio

Alesia Martynovich (b. 2000 in Slutsk, Belarus) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Kraków. She moved to Poland in 2023. She works primarily with video, as well as audiovisual installation, objects, painting, collage and artist books.

She explores how people, objects and everyday spaces acquire meaning through context and perception. Starting from simple actions, found materials and familiar images, she uses montage, repetition and changes of scale to address memory, belonging and social codes.

In 2023, she graduated in Architecture from the Belarusian National Technical University in Minsk. Since 2025, she has been pursuing a master’s degree in Architecture at Cracow University of Technology. Her architectural education informs her attention to space, material and the viewer’s position. In April 2026, she presented her solo spatial audiovisual installation Kim jestem? at Scena Supernova in Kraków.
