Migrant Artist? Apply
MigrArt is building a growing database of migrant artists based in Poland, working across disciplines and contributing to the country’s cultural landscape. The database serves as a professional platform that increases visibility, strengthens access to opportunities, and connects artists with institutions, curators, and cultural partners.
By joining the MigrArt database, you become part of a network designed to support artistic development and long-term sustainability. Registered artists gain access to professional opportunities, including training, portfolio feedback sessions, and potential collaborations. Through our network, we connect artists with relevant cultural institutions and art spaces, supporting meaningful partnerships and public engagement.
Access to space at Kaliska 8 in Warsaw for workshops, artistic activities, meetings, and selected exhibition or installation opportunities is available to artists who have been registered in the MigrArt database for a minimum of six months. Access is subject to availability, program priorities, and approval by the MigrArt team.
Registration in the database does not guarantee automatic or unlimited use of the space. Allocation is determined based on engagement, relevance of the proposed activity, and the overall programming capacity of the platform. This policy ensures fairness, active participation, and alignment with MigrArt’s values and mission. Our goal is to strengthen artists’ professional presence in Poland and improve access to cultural infrastructure.
The database is open to migrant artists currently based in Poland, working in any artistic discipline — including visual arts, performance, film, music, literature, interdisciplinary, and socially engaged practices. Both emerging and established artists are welcome.
Applicants must have an active artistic practice and align with values of diversity, inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and artistic integrity.
