Without Borders

“Without Borders” is an interactive performance in the tradition of forum theatre / Theatre of the Oppressed, co-created by Miguel Ferreira and inspired by the work of Augusto Boal.

About the event

This event is for those curious about theatre that does not end with watching—but also for those who prefer to remain in the role of observers. Participation in interactions is voluntary.

Forum theatre is a form of theatre in which we watch scenes based on real social situations and then open them up to collective action: audience members can step into the scenes, propose a different response, “pause” the course of events, and explore various ways of responding to symbolic violence, exclusion, responsibility, and solidarity. It is theatre-as-dialogue: about empathy, agency, and collective reflection.
