We will see the results of two interventions:
– the mural “Chcę żyć w pokoju / Я хочу жити в мирі” by Yana Makukh
– the window installation: Wierszaformy “Okno w Ruchu” by Antos Sivyh
Afterwards, you will be able to take part in an open visual writing and Wierszaformy workshop. Antos Sivyh will share his creative method with us and show how (and why) to transform words into form, how to use rhythm, scale, and silence. We will create our own Wierszaformy: some you will be able to take home, and some will become part of our window. Wierszaformy are meant to connect people, bring warmth, and help express personal experience.
Workshop format (drop-in): join at any time between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. You can work for as long as you like and leave when you finish. There is no need to arrive at the beginning or stay until the end.
We will have poetry books available on site that you can use for inspiration. You may choose a poem from these books or bring your favorite poem and transform it into your own Wierszaforma.
