About

Platform

Platform MigrArt is the first platform in Poland dedicated to supporting, connecting, and amplifying migrant artists. It was founded in 2021 as a program of Strefa WolnoSłowa Foundation supported by the Warsaw Municipality and Warsaw cultural institutions.

We work at the intersection of art and social inclusion, responding to the structural gaps faced by artists with migrant and refugee experience. MigrArt exists to ensure these artists are visible, professionally supported, and meaningfully connected within Poland’s cultural ecosystem.

What we do?

We design tools, platforms, and programs that respond to the real needs of migrant artists in Poland.

Our work focuses on visibility, professional development, institutional collaboration, and community building—ensuring that artists from diverse backgrounds can sustain their creative practices and build long-term careers.

Mission

To empower migrant artists in Poland by amplifying their voices, strengthening their visibility, and supporting sustainable artistic careers.

We connect artists with institutions, funding opportunities, education, and community support, ensuring that vulnerable and at-risk creatives have access to the tools and networks they need to thrive.

.

Vision

We envision a cultural landscape in Poland where migrant artists are fully represented, supported, and valued.

A landscape in which cultural institutions are co-created by people with migrant backgrounds, making them more inclusive, ensuring fair access, and allowing artistic narratives to reflect the true diversity of our society.
